Makeup companies are constantly coming up with new and better ways to apply makeup. Just lipstick alone has gone from lasting 4 hours to staying on for 16 hours. In the future, we will be able to buy lipstick that will last 24 hours. The key at that point will be how do we get the makeup off?
Makeup is not only used for beauty, it is used for costumes, theatrics, and several other employment opportunities. In the future, the main goal is to produce makeup that will last long. The longer it lasts, the more convenient it will be for everyone.
Makeup for many is an art. We take an average person and make them look completely different, whether it is enhancing their beauty or turning them into a clown for a show. I believe the future will have much to offer to be more beneficial for us the consumers.

Along with everything else in our world, makeup with without a doubt evolve with the times. An idea I just thought up is a new kind of lipstick that you can wear 24/7. Imagine this: You apply this lipstick, but it goes on crystal clear. You cannot see a thing when looking in the mirror. Then you say one word: "Red" and ta-da! Your lipstick becomes red, staying that way until you command it to be clear again. I know it sounds goofy, but people have created more innovative things in the past. It is honestly impossible to say how much makeup will change in the future, but we do know that it will change in some way.
I really do not many people who will want makeup on for 24 hours. If you think about it your up only 12 to 18 hours of the day depending on who you are. If you have makeup that last over that then your sleeping with it on and it would just messy and get all over the bed.
