Micro-Segmentation- Melissa

With the future right around the corner, many might wonder what the future of cosmetics may hold? Some may think that it is the year 2010, we have thought of it all by now. But this is not true.

After doing some research, I have found a product called Micro-Segmentation. So what exactly is Micro-Segmentation? Well it is a cosmetic product that can serve more than one purpose. So far, the first industry to use this concept is the hair care industry. If you think about it, there are some hair care products that can serve more than one purpose in today's market. Such as the combination of shampoo and conditioner.

We well see many advances in cosmetics in the future, and this is just the beginning

Technology has advanced cosmetics a lot over the years. Society will like Micro-Segmentation because it will save people time. Products that can do more than one thing at a time are more popular because they are more convenient. No one wants to waste their time using a whole bunch of different cosmetic items. People like items that are quick and easy to use. The art perspective is people will be able to put their make-up on all at once and look however they want to. Micro-Segmentation will be normal for cosmetics in the future.

What scares me the most about future products like this are the long term implications of these "wonder" chemicals and material. When Teflon was created, everyone hailed it as a break through in cooking technology. Now it has come to light that Teflon molecules readily absorb into a humans blood stream. It could be possible that society will poison itself in wonder drugs, wonder chemicals and wonder products brought to us with the power of science.
