"Age Defying Creams" ~~ By Holly Crohe

For years past, present, and years to come, women will always try to make themselves look younger.
Women have expensive surgeries to remove lines from wrinkles as well as limp plumping to make their appearance be more alluring.
Today Avon sells a line of products that have become very popular. It is their
line of Anew products. Being an Avon Representative gives me the full view of just how important looking younger has become for women. As you can see this is just one group of "Age Defying," creams that Anew has created. Though these creams do seem to be a little pricey, it does not deter women from buying them. It costs $30.00 for one of these little jars, which as seen here is the actual size.
You can also see the commercials now for the Anew creams on commercials, which is something that has become new in the present.

The Court of Hearts: Age defying Creams
These creams are very interesting. I personally don’t know if they really work the way they say that they will, but who knows! The market it anyway! Our society is so concerned with looking younger and beautiful that they will do anything to change their look! The artistic view would be how women are always trying to change their looks. They use face creams and paint on makeup to help them feel better about themselves. They are also going to a point of surgery, which women of our past would never think twice about. Technology is allowing plastic surgeries to be performed to fix a small bump on a woman’s nose. These habits that women are encountering are extremely costly for not only the surgery itself, but also the research behind them.

It’s true that a great many women go to extremes to look younger, including buying these very expensive products and plastic surgery. Technology may or may not have found ways to improve our skin, but there are less expensive ways. One way is less sun exposure. Too much sun causes wrinkles and a good chance of developing skin cancer. The time and effort Avon and other companies put into creating these different make-up creams. Along with the advertisements, just to try to impress upon women the importance of looking younger. But, looking younger is not everything.

It's interesting to see the gradual advances in technology within the Beauty industry. The arts and our culture have placed unfair pressure on women and the importance of looking young, flawless and being beautiful. Skin problems can easily be covered up; nowadays a simple cream or a foundation can cover a pimple. Through extensive research doctors can prescribe a lotion for Rosacea or acne. Before one needed to go to a dermatologist to get a microdermabrasion, nowadays you can go to a spa to get one. As technology progresses we'll see many of these treatments that otherwise are expensive become available to the masses; as this technology becomes readily available the price will drop and consumer demand will increase.

When it comes to aging women seam to be more sensitive than man, as a result women use many products to look younger. Some products lines are advertised by clamming that the product could reduce wrinkles to make one look ten year younger. It is interesting to see how companies try to come up with new product that could get the attention of women. Despite the price women are willing to use these product not because they work magic but just to feel young because the product promise to do so. The other option women have is surgeries that temporally remove wrinkles, aging spots and so on. Because many women could not afford to have surgery, products like Age Defining cream by Avon attract many women around the world.
